This is an ARD (Anti Reflection Device) for the Vortex red dots. It is designed to be press fit on the front face of the optic creating a secure fitment. 

Our ARDs are designed and manufactured in fashion that does not hinder the user’s visibility through the optic. When your eyes focus on target you will easily see through the ARD while it is blocking any reflections the optic can produce. The ARD also functions as a compact sunshade mitigating glare from the sun as well as glare from other lights when shooting at night.

Vortex Sparc AR ARD

Was finally able to find an ARD for the Sparc AR and this one is outstanding!!! Great fit & finish with fast shipping

Get an ARD its a great upgrade. This fit the vortex spac AR perfectly and was able to still keep the rubber cover on to protect the unit. Greatly reduced reflections seen from those looking at you. When focused on the target you don’t see much of the honey comb pattern.

Great product

Fits surprisingly well, it’s certainly not going to fall off. I didn’t throw my rifle or anything so time will tell how durable it is. It seems well made enough that breaking it from impact would have me more worried about my zero more than a broken ARD. Great price too, just get it.
